A fabulous Antique Victorian long guard chain modelled in Silver gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold, featuring beautifully crafted faceted links.

The chain is complete with a large trigger clasp at the end which may have been used to attach a pocket watch or a cylinder of fur known as a Muff to keep the wearers hands warm in winter.

A truly gorgeous necklace which can be worn as one long chain or wrapped 2-3 times around the neck.
